Bring Your Dog to Work Day in Brisbane

14th August 2018

In a Queensland first, Mirvac offered the tenants at 340 Adelaide Street in Brisbane the opportunity to bring your dog to work on 14 August 2018.

When leaving for work in the morning does your furry best friend look at you with sad puppy dog eyes, making you wish you could take them with you?

In a Queensland first, Mirvac offered the tenants at 340 Adelaide Street in Brisbane the opportunity to do just that, at the inaugural Bring Your Dog to Work Day on 14 August 2018.

Over 20 tenants pre-registered their dogs for the event, which allowed their furry friends to join them at work.

We also hosted a pop-up in the forecourt of the building where tenants and their dogs had the opportunity to snap a pet portrait while enjoying refreshments such as the ‘Bone Bar’, puppy chinos and hot dogs.

Bring Your Dog to Work Day was a collaboration between Mirvac’s innovation team, Hatch, and Mirvac’s Queensland office, to find new ways of bringing flexibility and engaging experiences to the workplace. Mirvac is leading the way in providing health and wellbeing offerings for tenants and is the first landlord in Queensland to facilitate an event of this kind.

The feedback from tenants was overwhelmingly positive and everyone enjoyed the chance to spend the day with their beloved pets. We even had visitors from nearby workplaces attend the pop-up and request the same initiative at their office!

Keep your eyes peeled for next event!
