AFR BOSS - GivingLarge Top 50 list for 2021
Mirvac is named in the Top 50 for the AFR Boss GivingLarge Corporate Giving report.
At Mirvac, we don’t just build properties, we help to build communities where people feel a sense of belonging.
Against a backdrop of COVID-19, we continue to show great care for our communities, which is why we’re proud to be recognised as one of Australia’s leading community givers in the 2021 StrivePhilanthropy GivingLarge report.
Some of the giving initiatives we undertook this year include:
• Shelter@Mirvac – where we’ve established key relationships with for-impact businesses, including OzHarvest, Anglicare and Headspace.
• Mirvac’s National Community Day – this year over 800 employees volunteered their time to participate in a range of activities, delivering more than $600,000 in community investment in the process.
• Donations - Significant funding provided to the recovery and management efforts following the devastating floods in March and food assistance for vulnerable groups during COVID-19 lockdowns.
• At Olivine in Melbourne - investing our time and energy to help create a first-class sporting precinct for the community to use.
