We’re Banksia Foundation Finalists
We’re thrilled to announce that our Supplier Development Program, delivered in partnership with Social Traders, has been selected as a finalist in the Banksia Foundation’s National Sustainability Awards.
The program, now in its second year, matches Mirvac mentors to work alongside social enterprises to help boost their capabilities and capacity for sustainable growth.
Social enterprises are businesses that aim to improve communities and tackle issues like environmental sustainability, social justice, and economic empowerment.
They help build the skills and knowledge needed for meaningful change. Our goal is to help these social enterprises scale up so we can do more business with them, and they can grow.
Using suppliers who make a positive social impact allows us to use our purchasing power for good. With this year’s theme of optimism, the awards celebrate those driving positive change and shaping a more sustainable future.
We’re honoured to be part of this incredible cohort and look forward to the awards announcement next month.

Mirvac acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Owners of the lands and waters of Australia, and we offer our respect to their Elders past and present.
