Mirvac’s St Leonards Square Topping Out

13th August 2019

Construction has now reached the 36th level on the second and tallest tower at St Leonards Square, with the occasion being marked with a topping out ceremony.

The gateway project St Leonard’s Square has reached an important construction milestone, helping to lead the transformation of St Leonards into a future-focused destination suburb.

Construction has now reached the 36th level on the second and tallest tower and Mirvac has marked the occasion with a topping out. The project has been described as an extraordinary success story and there has been overwhelming market response to the commercial and residential offering, designed by Sissons Architects in collaboration with Mirvac Design.

Mirvac’s CEO and Managing Director, Susan Lloyd-Hurwitz said that the new precinct was an example of how people are changing the way they live and work.

“Increasingly people are choosing to live in apartments where they can prioritise amenity and convenience. That is why it is so important for us to ensure we are leaving behind a positive legacy and a flourishing, dynamic community.

“We see this as a place for shoppers, renters, owners, workers, locals and visitors to come together in a space that feels like their own. Those who have purchased at St Leonards Square have not just bought a home – they have bought into a vertical village lifestyle, embraced a vision and shown foresight in realising the benefits and convenience that will come with the new Crows Nest Metro station just 150 metres from home.”

Mirvac acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Owners of the lands and waters of Australia, and we offer our respect to their Elders past and present.
